Use poultry manure product of Biogas and its role in growth in Barley plants

Abstract The accumulation of raw poultry residues in enormous quantities causes the release odors and leakage toxic elements into surface groundwater, which negatively affects human health environment. So bioreactor named fixed-dome model as an anaerobic digester was designed installed field at agricultural advisory office college agriculture University Basra Karmat-Ali, Iraq. Anaerobic organic fertilizer produced from digestion pathway when manure fermented aerobically for 56 days bioreactor, to study use efficiency added 150Kg N ha -1 0, 25, 50, 75, 100 % recommended dose equal a chemical recommendation nitrogen urea while P K were applied experiment traditional fertilizers(superphosphate potassium sulfate respectively) grow barley plants ( Hordeum vulgare L.). Results showed that doses 100% with significant increase plant growth parameters height, dry weight shoot amounts their uptake within 60 planting compared rest treatments, so biogas technology production can help partly or mainly reduce fertilizer.
